A New Year's resolution is a tradition, more common in the Western world, but also found in the Eastern world, in which a person decides to continue good practices, change an unwanted trait or behavior, achieve a personal goal, or otherwise. It is commonly believed that the New Year's resolution began in ancient Babylon more than 4,000 years ago in an attempt to appease its gods. Your goals must be intelligent and INTELLIGENT. It is an acronym coined in the Management Review in 1981 for “specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-limited”.
It may work for management, but it can also work to establish their resolutions. A New Year's resolution is a promise you make to yourself to start doing something good or stop doing something bad on the first day of the year.
